FOSS Factory is the only website where the community collaborates on every aspect of free/open source software production, including design, funding and development. Our mission is to help accelerate the advancement of free/open source software.

This site is taking an interesting approach to open-source software development and collaboration by having a variety of project proposals to which people can offer "bounties" for the development of the project. Most open-source developers do it for the love of the project, but some projects (especially those which are large, complex, or just don't present an itch to most developers to "scratch") need a bit more incentive. This new site seems to tackle that problem with a decidely monetary approach.
